What personal data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with and your rights.

Version 2.0, effective 21 October 2026.

1. Who we are

VOLTFLEET LTD (company number 17522745), 56 Orchard Road, Enfield, EN3 4PJ ("VoltFleet", "we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@voltfleet.co.uk.

2. What this website does and does not do

This website is informational. It does not take bookings, payments or uploads. It does not set cookies or use analytics. The enquiry form on the Contact page does not send anything to us: it builds a message that opens in WhatsApp or your email app on your device, and you choose whether to send it. We do not store what you type into the form. Our website host may keep standard server logs (for example IP address and pages requested) for security and running the site.

3. What personal data we collect

Contact details: name, phone number, email address and address. Job details: collection and delivery addresses, dates, items and access. Payment details: handled by our payment provider or bank transfer; we do not intend to hold full card numbers. Messages and calls with us, by email, WhatsApp or phone. Complaints and claims records, including photographs you send us.

4. Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry and give you a quote: steps before a contract at your request. To carry out the job and take payment: contract. To keep accounts and issue invoices: legal obligation. To deal with complaints, damage claims and disputes: legitimate interests and legal obligation. We do not use your data for marketing unless you ask us to.

5. Who we share it with

Only where needed: our email and website hosting providers, WhatsApp if you message us there, our payment provider or bank, our insurer or broker if there is a claim, our professional advisers, authorities that are entitled to ask, and, if an invoice is not paid, debt collection agencies and courts. We do not sell personal data.

6. Transfers outside the UK

Some providers, such as WhatsApp, may process data outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards the UK GDPR requires.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a job are normally deleted or anonymised after 12 months. Records of completed jobs and invoices are normally kept for six years for tax, contract and claims purposes. Claim and complaint records may be kept longer where lawful and necessary. We do not keep information indefinitely.

8. How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to keep personal data secure and limit access to people who need it. Please do not send passports, licences or bank details by WhatsApp or ordinary email. We will tell you how to send documents safely.

9. Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have it erased in some cases, to restrict or object to our use of it, to data portability in some cases, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email info@voltfleet.co.uk. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we use your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would like the chance to put it right first.

10. Cookies

This website does not currently use cookies or analytics. If that changes, we will explain what we use and ask for consent where the law requires it.

11. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The version on this page applies from the date shown.
