Sea freight for global cargo

Sea freight moves larger volumes at a lower cost than air, and suits stock, equipment, household contents and other non-urgent cargo. We arrange it with shipping partners and coordinate the collection, customs and delivery either side.

FCL or LCL

Full container load (FCL) gives you a dedicated container. Less than container load (LCL) shares a container with other cargo and suits smaller consignments. We quote both so you can compare.

Who is responsible for what

Incoterms, such as EXW, FCA, CIF, CFR, DAP and DDP, define who handles transport, insurance and costs at each stage. Agree them with your supplier or buyer before you book, and tell us which apply. We can explain the options.

What to include in your request

Origin and destination, cargo description, number of packages, dimensions, weight and estimated volume, FCL or LCL preference, customs support needs and the delivery location.

How we deliver this

Some jobs, including larger vehicles and international freight, are carried out with carefully selected partner carriers. VoltFleet stays your single point of contact and remains responsible to you for the job.

What to tell us

• The collection and delivery postcodes, with floor numbers
• The date and time you need, and how flexible you are
• What is moving: item count, rough sizes and weight, or the number of pallets
• Stairs, lifts, loading bays, parking and any permits or restrictions at both ends
• Whether you need help carrying, a tail-lift or a second person

How it is priced
